I’ve been taking photos for more than 40 years, mostly as a hobby but, more recently, as Bea and Bear Photography.

Back in the day, when cameras contained film and the internet was still a concept, I would take pictures for fun and develop black and white prints in the bathroom.

In 2003, Canon introduced the first “entry-level” digital SLR - it was £900! However, I had to have one! Suddenly, instead of 36 photos on a film roll, you could take 1000 photos and immediately edit them on your computer. Many other cameras soon followed and it changed photography forever.

In 2023, I finally decided to turn a hobby into a small business, so I upgraded my kit and started photographing friends and family to build my portfolio.

3 years later, I have had the please of capturing weddings, events, families, newborns and even animals! And met loads of amazing people along the way.
